Join us for a variety of trauma-care classes this Summer. We will have courses focused on trauma-care in the peer recovery movement, including Traumatic Brain Injuries.

During these courses, participants will have an opportunity to deepen their skills, knowledge, and application of trauma-awareness, trauma-informed care, healing-centered engagement, and advocacy in the peer recovery world.  


PARTICIPANTS IN THIS TRAINING WILL:

  • Define and unpack the idea of trauma-awareness and trauma-informed care

  • Learn ways to engage with peers from a healing-centered place

  • Use and model the Wellness Recovery Action Plan

  • Understand the importance of advocacy with peers surviving with trauma 


FOR: Anyone interested in deepening their knowledge of trauma-informed care and healing-centered engagement  and advocacy in the peer recovery community
